How do I encrypt a file?
nokVAULT must be in open mode in order to encrypt a file, then by right-clicking the file and choosing "Encrypt".
The default encryption settings which you entered during install will appear. Click OK and the file will become encrypted with the default key. Once this step is completed you will notice that the encrypted files have a large blue "E" icon superimposed on them. This will indicate that the file is encrypted. When the VAULT is closed, the “E” icon will disappear, and any attempt to access the encrypted file will automatically generate an “Access is denied” message and the file’s contents will be blank if opened.
