What does secure erase do?
It permanently deletes a file form the computer without a trace.
Typically when you delete a file via an operating system like Windows, the file will appear to be gone, but it still resides on your computer's hardware. This makes deleted files accessible by anyone who knows how to retrieve them. The nokVAULT secure erase feature deletes the file from the operating system and any linked traces to that file.
