This is an online guide for uninstalling nokVAULT from your computer. If you wish, you can download the PDF User Guide, which includes a deatiled explanation of the Uninstall procedure.

Ensure all other applications are closed before beginning the nokVAULT Uninstall process. It is recommended that the nokVAULT protection be reversed on all files before you uninstall the software. If you wish, you may ignore your all your Exported files OR any of your Encrypted files on your system or on any removable media, as you may be able to open them in another installation of nokVAULT.

It is IMPERATIVE that you remove all your files from the Secure Area before you uninstall nokVAULT. Encrypted files from one installation of nokVAULT may be recovered in another installation of nokVAULT ONLY if you know the key that encrypted them. However, due to highest file security available only with nokVAULT, any files left in the Secure Area CANNOT be recovered in another installation of nokVAULT. This is applicable even if the same version of nokVAULT is installed by the same user with the same serial number on the same computer at a different time. Each nokVAULT installation is UNIQUE. Remove protection on all files in Secure Area or THEY WILL BE LOST forever!

There are (2) methods to uninstalling nokVAULT.

METHOD 1: From the Start Menu, nokVAULT, Uninstall

A new Warning popup will appear confirming you want to uninstall nokVAULT.  Click “OK” to continue.

Choose the Setup Language to begin the Uninstall Wizard

Click "Next" to contine with the nokVAULT Uninstall Wizard

Click "Finish"

IMPORTANT: You will be prompted a screen indicating the progress of the nokVAULT uninstall process. For security reasons this step may take several minutes! Please be patient and let the process finish without running any other programs or processes. YOUR SYSTEM IS NOT FROZEN. The system needs time to securely remove any traces of your nokVAULT installation.

To finalize the nokVAULT uninstall process, click "OK" to RESTART Windows automatically.
