Do I have to decrypt and re-encrypt a file every time I need to change it?
No. The files are temporarily decrypted and encrypted on-the-fly.
This is a key feature that makes nokVAULT extremely user friendly. It allows for easy file modification without the need to decrypt and encrypt for every use. Also, it allows for encryption of entire software directories within the machine, thus allowing users to protect all other software on the computer.
