As a programmer, I love using VB.NET or C# when I develop the program than using open source. The reason is simply because it’s easy to debug the program. Besides, I don’t have to worry in making mistakes when I type the parameters because Microsoft Visual Studio will directly correct it.
However, since it’s not open source, when I find the headers to complete the programs, it’s very hard to find headers or references free. We have to spend some money. Yes, most of the references are great, so we don’t have to do too much coding, but the price is very expensive that couldn’t be afforded by programmers that work in simple project.
I still remember how difficult in finding the reference that allows me to generate PDF files easily and for free when I was creating an ASP.NET web application. There is Aspose that can suits with all my needs, but the price is more than $1000. In fact, my project’s value is only around $1000 
(. I was so confused at that time until a kind person shared me the URL to create it for free.
