The Main nokVAULT window allows the user to control all nokVAULT functions. The user must enter a personal password to open this window. Once the user is logged in and the vault is open, all protected files are accessible.



The Encrypted Files window shows users the location of files that are encrypted on the computer or on any removable media, the encryption key and method used to encrypt these files, and the encryption strength or key size. Even when the vault is closed, these files remain visible on the computer but are inaccessible.

The Secure Area Files window shows users all files that are in the secure area of the vault. These files are located on the local hard drive - when the vault is closed these files are inaccessible and untraceable.

The Encryption Keys window shows all encryption keys generated by the user and can be modified at any time. These keys can also be exported and sent to other nokVAULT users who can use such keys to open your encrypted files.

The Configuration window allows you to modify the default encryption key, as well as any other nokVAULT settings, including the main vault login password. This is also the only place from which nokVAULT can be uninstalled from the computer, protected from other computer users.
